Sam’s journey to building is rooted in his entrepreneurial drive to create. Trained as a chef at the Culinary Institute of America, Sam started his own successful catering company, designing and building his company’s custom, professional kitchen.
Next came the task of reimagining a family-owned property in Vermont as building rapidly became his focus. Energized by his success, his attention turned towards something bigger – a custom home for his family.
And not just any home. We call it Carbon Home Zero. A stunning, state-of-the-art, luxury home in Pound Ridge, New York, created to be truly modern, energy efficient, and dramatically beautiful. Sam lives there with his wife Julie, and daughter Emily.
Since 2020, Carbon has become one of the fastest growing builders in the Northeast, and is on a mission to build better homes and set new standards for sustainable, luxury home building.
